Fantastic phasmid

I was impressed.  I was also unsure what I was looking at.  It was a phasmid, a member of the leaf and stick insects, that much I could tell.  But I’d never heard any that coiled their abdomens over their thorax, the way that this one did.  I took out my video camera and filmed it moving over my hand and the trees where I replaced it, it didn’t coil as tightly again, but it did arch a few times.  I’d look to identify it later.
